Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4 schools are closed for students due to Election Day. Wednesday, November 5 is our GI GO Fundraiser. Students and staff may wear Red, White, and Blue in honor of military veterans. Please consider donating at least $1.00 to dress down and support veterans with housing, employment, entrepreneurship, and benefits.
We appreciate your continued support and participation in our school community. We're looking forward to another week at Metacomet Elementary! As always, thank you for being part of our community and can't wait to see you at one of our upcoming events.

Connecticut students can enter the CHET Dream Big! Competition closes November 5 for a chance to win scholarships up to $20,000 for their education. Sponsored by the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET), the competition offers a total of $350,000 in contributions to CHET 529 college savings plans, with prizes including three $20,000 awards, 24 $5,000 awards, and 240 $500 awards. Students in grades K-12 can participate by submitting a response about their dreams through a drawing, video, or essay, with help from a parent or guardian. There is no entry fee.
