January 27 through January 31, Metacomet School will participate in The Great Kindness Challenge. GKC is an initiative aimed at preventing bullying in PreK-12 schools. During the Challenge week, students will receive a Kindness Checklist School Edition designed to foster a culture of kindness. During the GKC week we give students an opportunity to engage in spirit activities. Our school is excited to take part in The Great Kindness Challenge, a week-long program focused on cultivating kindness and compassion in communities around the globe.
We encourage all students to perform as many acts of kindness as they can while at school and hope they feel motivated to carry this spirit into their homes as well.
