Metacomet has a lot happening towards the end of the month. This Friday, October 18, we will celebrate our students of the month with a breakfast sponsored by Attorney Dressler. Parents should have received an invitation and call. Please be sure to be prompt, as our assembly begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Congrats to our students of the month!

Thursday, October 24th, is our annual Trunk or Treat. We need more volunteers to host trunks. To host a trunk, register at https://forms.gle/LqFeXyhY7T3t9nvQ7. Families who will collect candy should donate $5 towards admission. This will help with the purchase of candy. The admission fee should be submitted with the form https://5il.co/2xz9f to your child's teachers. Costumes are welcome and must be family friendly but not required.

Our first Community Forum of the school year is on Friday, October 25th, from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. This is an opportunity for family and community members to join and celebrate academic growth, promote inclusion, and explore ideas around topics from the classroom.

The MES Scholastic Book Fair begins Monday, October 28th, ending Friday, November 1st. Parents are asked to set up their e-Wallets (https://5il.co/2yked) for easy and smooth purchases for our students. Parents are welcome to shop with their child either before/after school or before/after their parent conference. The Book Fair will be held in room 117.

Wednesday, October 30th through Friday, November 1st is Parent Teacher Conferences. Students will be dismissed at 1:25 p.m. on these days.
