Metacomet school is looking for Instructional Assistants to work with our students with special needs. The positions pay about $20.00 per hour and the work day is 6.5 hours long from 8:25-3:25 pm. Hello, parents and guardians. Our Field Day is scheduled for tomorrow. Your child should wear comfortable outdoor clothes with sneakers. Please make sure they have sunscreen on and they should have a water bottle. Our Family Picnic is scheduled for 6:00 pm tomorrow night also. I hope to see you there,

Hello, Grade 4 parents and guardians. We will celebrate our current fourth as they plan to move to Grade 5 next year. The Grade 4 Step Up Day will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 10:30-11:30 am out in our bus circle. Please bring a lawn chair to sit down outside. Have a great night!

Good morning. Students are bringing home a flyer with details about our upcoming Field Day & Family Picnic, both happening on Tuesday, June 11th. Field Day will be from 9:30-3pm & the Family Picnic will be from 6-7:30pm. **Please note if events have to be canceled because of the weather, they will not be rescheduled **

Good Evening Extended Day Families, Please be advised that we will be conducting a lockdown drill for the afterschool program on Thursday, June 6 from 4:00-4:20, parents will not be allowed to enter the building or to pick up your children at this time. Thank you for your consideration.

Members of the Bloomfield Public Schools Science of Reading Master Class team stepped up to the plate to present their work to the Board of Education Curriculum Committee. The team will be presenting to the Connecticut State Department of Education next month on their work.
